Relay

In order to know how to connect a relay to a circuit, you must be familiar with all the pin terminals of the relay.

And depending on what type of relay you are connecting, there are different numbers of pins and different pin configurations for each relay.

Connecting the Different Types of Relays

There are many different types of relays, so to learn how to connect the one that you want, you must specifically learn that one out of all the others.

There are Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) relays, Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) relays, and another is Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) relays.

In order to learn how to connect a Single Pole Single Throw Relay, check out Connecting a SPST Relay.
